DISCOVER EKWATCH

Ekwatch was born from the desire to rediscover the innovative and scientific soul that has characterized eclipses since ancient times. They have always been admired as sensational events, and often considered a source of research for scientific, philosophical and religious studies in every culture and in every century.

The Ek models are inspired by eclipses not only in their name, but also in the harmony generated by the combination of distinctive design and premium elements.

The collections created are different from each other but share the same values that support Ekwatch.

THE FIRST EKs

Attention to detail, premium components, distinctive design: these are the 3 key values to follow for a watch in which reliability and originality create a precious harmony.

Each project launched, therefore Ek 1919 and Ek 1504, has followed the same production phases with careful considerations regarding the materials and the choices of individual components. From the most minute details to more evident choices such as case or movement. Nothing is left to chance.

MANUAL ASSEMBLY

Each single Ek is produced respecting the design specifications studied by us: no model presents production differences compared to the same line (1504 or 1919).

The various assembly phases are therefore carried out for each individual watch. No automated operations, only craftsmanship and human control over each individual step.

QUALITY CONTROL

Every single watch goes through a rigorous evaluation step before being sold. Example on model 1504:

1) inspection of the external appearance of the watch to check for visual defects;
2) check that the automatic movement is functioning correctly and, in the case of a GMT model, that any complications are present;
3) waterproofing check to ensure that the models reflect one of the main design features up to (300 meters);
4) Checking the dial and hands: checking the correct alignment of the hands and indexes on the dial;
5) Check the case and strap, verifying the quality of the case and the total integrity of the glass and locking systems.
